Un nuevo hecho de violencia sacudi\u00f3 al municipio de Andes en la noche de este martes 7 de abril, luego de que un hombre fuera asesinado con arma de fuego en v\u00eda p\u00fablica.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

El crimen se registr\u00f3 hacia las 8:40 p. m. en la circunvalaci\u00f3n, cerca del barrio Las Ceibas. La v\u00edctima fue identificada como Daniel V\u00e9lez Casta\u00f1o, de 27 a\u00f1os, conocido popularmente como \u201cChavo\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

De acuerdo con informaci\u00f3n suministrada por la ciudadan\u00eda y que puede ser corroborada mediante videos que circulan en redes sociales, el hombre falleci\u00f3 en el lugar de los hechos debido a la gravedad de las heridas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Hasta el momento, las autoridades no han establecido los m\u00f3viles ni los responsables del homicidio. Al cierre de esta edici\u00f3n, unidades judiciales de la Polic\u00eda Nacional adelantaban la inspecci\u00f3n t\u00e9cnica al cad\u00e1ver y la recolecci\u00f3n de material probatorio en la escena.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Seg\u00fan se conoci\u00f3, V\u00e9lez Casta\u00f1o hab\u00eda sido v\u00edctima de un ataque con arma cortopunzante el 4 de abril de 2025, en inmediaciones del parque principal del municipio. En aquella ocasi\u00f3n, fue auxiliado por un param\u00e9dico que transitaba por el lugar, lo que permiti\u00f3 salvarle la vida.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Con este caso, asciende a 17 el n\u00famero de homicidios registrados en Andes en lo que va corrido de 2026, lo que mantiene en alerta a las autoridades locales frente a la situaci\u00f3n de seguridad en la regi\u00f3n.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
